Dimapur, April 5: Advisor for Sericulture, Excise and Minority Affairs, Zhaleo Rio, who is also the Chairman of DPDB Dimapur, advised the new members of the board to give the best delivery system to the public.
Addressing the board meeting for the month of April on Monday, Zhaleo reminded the newly posted officers that they were fortunate to be posted at Dimapur and urged them to co-operate with the district administration, police and the elected representatives of Dimapur district.
Zhaleo further urged the HODs for more participation. “Feel free and share the activities, achievements and even failures of your department during DPDB meeting,” he said.
Zhaleo also made a special request to the legislators of Dimapur to attend DPDB meetings.
Dwelling on the alarming scenario of COVID-19 across India, Zhaleo reminded the District Task Force to strengthen management protocols and not to be complacent, “though Nagaland has not been badly hit by the second wave”.
Deputy Commissioner Dimapur Rajesh Soundararajan appealed to all the HODs to be ready and be mentally prepared for fighting the second wave of COVID-19. He informed that DTF would start enforcement of COVID-19 protocols again on daily basis and directed DMC for ensuring that all shopkeepers observe COVID-19 protocols.
Aghunaka has been selected as the Aspirational block under Dimapur district and a committee would be constituted at the earliest, the DC informed.
Minutes of last DPDB meeting were reviewed while other agendas included recommendations for registration of societies, change of nomenclature of Concern Kids Montessori School to Concern Kids School 4th mile. The house also submitted to the higher authority with regard to opening of new schools namely, Rising Montessori School Toulazouma village, Sunrise Pre-school 7th Mile Chumukedima, upgrade of Riverine school Thilixu village and Quest Fulfil School Model colony Purana bazaar.
Shifting of Ebenezer High School Dhansiripar to Selouphe village and Logos School from Sovima F Khel to Kuda Nagarjan B Khel were also deliberated and submitted by the board to the higher authority. (Page News Service)
