Dimapur, September 11: Initiated by several Dimapur-based NGOs, the ‘Protect Dimapur COVID-19’ launched its second phase on September 11 in the DC’s conference hall in presence of DC, ADC and CMO Dimapur.
Addressing the gathering, DC Dimapur Rajesh Soundararajan acknowledged the team for their voluntary service helping out in different ways during the pandemic. He stated that the cases have come down because of collective efforts and at the present situation enforcement of SOPs is much needed. He requested the volunteers to carry out the assigned work in more professional and in a polite manner.
Convenor of the campaign, Pastor, Lotha Baptist Church Dimapur, Yanbemo Ovung informed that the campaign will be carried out on alternative days for two weeks starting from September 14. He said the campaign is to enforce the SOPs to public, shops and vendors in market places in and around Dimapur.
