Dimapur, January 24: The Dimapur Electrical Division has reminded that it will be continuing disconnection drive for non-payment of electricity bills for two consecutive months and all other illegal activities like meter tampering and hooking for all categories of consumers within its jurisdiction.
This is in continuation with the earlier disconnection notice issued on 15th November 2019.
The EE Dimapur Electrical Division advised consumers to pay their electricity bill within the stipulated time in order to avoid any inconveniences. In case of any discrepancies/grievances regarding electricity bill, one can visit the office of the respective SDO (E) NO-I, II, III for clarification/correction/rectification at the earliest.
The EE said for the convenience of the consumers and for non receipt of electricity bill, one can login at www. dopn.gov.in to view and pay electricity bill online. Consumers have been advised to download an app ‘dopn’ or ‘Paytm’ from the play store in android phones for hassle free payment of electricity bill in just a few minutes from any place anywhere.
