
Dimapur, May 29: Pinnacle Skills organized their 10th founding anniversary programme on May 29 at DBIDL, Don Bosco, Dimapur with Advisor, Excise, labour, employment, skill development and entrepreneurship Moatoshi Longkumer as chief guest.
Moatoshi Longkumer, while congratulating Pinnacle Skills said that the state is facing a grave future and difficult time is ahead because most of the youths are unemployed be it educated or uneducated.
He said that Nagaland is the fourth among the states and the Union Territories of India as the most unemployed state as per the Periodic Labour Force Survey report 2022. This is a huge responsibility for all of us he stated.
Moatoshi said that Pinnacle skills have stepped in at the right time and they are in the pinnacle of experience. He assured the organization to work together for the betterment of the state.
Dr Yan Murry, CEO, Pinnacle Skills in his welcome address said that it was a time to reflect on what the organization has accomplished and look forward with a new vision.
Highlighting some of the achievements of Pinnacle Skills, he said that Pinnacle Skills became the first training partner of National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) in the North-East in 2014. In the year 2017 the organization was awarded the best NGO in skill development at the Indo-Global skill summit in Delhi.
In the last ten years, Pinnacle skills has executed projects in five states namely Nagaland, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Tripura and West Bengal, executed 18 skill development projects and5 CSR projects, trained nearly 13,000 youths as of today and currently Pinnacle skills is working in 23 schools of Nagaland under Samagra Shiksha giving vocational training from class 6 onwards.
He gave the credit to his dedicated staff for all these achievements. He opined that the biggest achievement of Pinnacle skills is giving jobs and opportunities to our youths.
Dr. John Murry, Chairman, Pinnacle Skills in his address encouraged the staff to work together as a team and achieve more milestones with determination. He acknowledged the contributions of various well-wishers, departments and the partnership with NSDC towards to growth of the organization.
Senior staff of Pinnacle Skills was given service awards at the programme. The chief guest also released the 10th founding anniversary publication.
Earlier, invocation prayer was offered by Pastor, Covenant Baptist Church Dimapur, Yabang Longkumer, a short speech was delivered by Head of business development and placement, Pinnacle Skills, Debojyoti Sarkar and a special song was presented by Temsu Clover while vote of thanks was delivered by Head of operations, Pinnacle Skills Ajung Thonger. The programme was chaired by Sr. Manager, Operations, Pinnacle Skills, Nagatoli Achumi.
