PEP Kohima gets new EE (Electrical) office building


Kohima, March 7: The newly constructed office building of the Executive Engineer Electrical for Police Engineering Project (PEP), Electrical Division Kohima was inaugurated today.
Formally inaugurating the building, Chief Engineer of Police Engineering Project, Nagaland, Kohima, P. Lanu Aier in his address called upon the officers and staff to be more sincere than before and carry their respective assignments in a diligent manner.
Urging the staff to take utmost care of the office building, Aier also stressed on the need to beautify the atmosphere of the office building by planting trees and also appealed them to maintain cleanliness and make the office a beautiful place to work.
Superintending Engineer, PEP, Nagaland; Kohima Takuyangba told the officers and staff to take care of the office building and deliver good service to the public.
Project Engineer PEP Nagaland, Kohima Kitoho in his technical report stated that the construction of the executive engineer (electrical) office for PED at Phesama was taken up under MOD 2015-16 and funded under modernization of police department.
The total estimated cost was Rs. 38.93 lakh which include electrification, water supply and other civil works.
The work commenced on July 2, 2016 as per work order and completed on September 8, 2017.
Executive Engineer, electrical PEP Kohima Toniho Achumi chaired the inaugural function.
