Penultimate day of Hornbill Fest see highest footfall

KOHIMA, DECEMBER 9: The penultimate day of the ongoing Hornbill Festival of Nagaland at Naga Heritage Village Kisama today witnessed the highest number of visitors of the year at 16,409.
With this the overall footfall for the nine days of the festivities stands at 1,27,753 visitors, said Deputy Director of Tourism Department, Toka E Tuccumi in an update of the daily statistics.
Tomorrow is the last day of the festival.
The total includes 76,365 local people, 40,519 domestic tourists and 959 foreigners.
Today’s visitors include 10,657 locals, 5,694 domestic tourists and 58 foreigners.
Monday had the lowest visitors at 9,158.
