DIMAPUR, JULY 2: The NPF Legislature Party has stated that the NDPP-led PDA Government in Nagaland will be dislodged by its own weight and contradiction but not by NPF pressure.

The NPFLP was reacting to NDPP allegation that the NPF and its leaders are “behaving like a pack of Hyenas waiting for every opportunity to pounce on their prey, the PDA Government”.
“It is hereby reminded to the NDPP that their PDA Government will dislodge by its own weight and contradictions but not by the NPF pressure rather the NPF is not interested in such toppling game even though it is within the ambit of the political game”, said NPFLP spokesperson Imkong L Imchen in a rejoinder.
On the party approaching Raj Bhavan, the NPFLP said when the voice of the NPF Legislature Party is summarily rejected by the ruling conglomerate (PDA) “not by rational nor by truthfulness but through their numerical strength and arrogances” of NDPP leadership we have to approach the Governor so that necessary remedial measures are initiated under the competency of the constitution of India.
The NPFLP also demanded the PDA Government to lay on the table of public domain all the financial grants made by Government of India, including PM special packages for COVID-19 pandemic, etc.
It also demanded to know from which fund/chargeable head Rs 30 crores was taken out and given to CIHSR, which, it said, is a completely private autonomous society as per the MOU 27/05/2005. It further demanded to know the clearance given by Department of Planning & Co-Ordination, Finance concurrence and the State Cabinet to transfer such huge amount to the tune of Rs 30 crores to CIHSR.

The NPF Legislature Party reiterated its demand to the Governor to invoke his Constitutional competencies and grant necessary prosecution sanctions to competent Central investigative agency so as to book the culprits and obligation of the due process of law. (Click here for Full Text)
