Dimapur, November 10: Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has stated that the PDA government in Nagaland is committed to set up Women Police Stations in all districts of the state, keeping in mind women safety and women empowerment.
The statement of the Chief Minister came following the inauguration of Women Police Station, Kiphire by Union Minister of State (Home), Kiren Rijiju today.
Rijiju, who arrived in Nagaland on November 9 to attend the special cabinet meeting in Kiphire as a special invitee to take progressive and far reaching concrete decisions, tweeted “I’m delighted to inaugurate the Women Police station at Kiphire. Nagaland Police personnel are very smart and professional.”
Meanwhile, various agricultural tools were distributed to the farmers of Kiphire with an aim to fulfill PM Narendra Modi’s target of doubling the income of the farmers by 2022.
“I along with CM Neiphiu Rio and his entire Cabinet Ministers shared the farmer’s joy,” said Rijiju. (Page News Service)
