Dimapur, October 1: Planning and Coordination Department, Government of Nagaland bade farewell to Opangtula, Joint Development Commissioner. The farewell programme was held on September 30 at Hotel Japfü, Kohima.
Opangtula, Joint Development was appointed as an Assistant Research Officer through NPSC in 1985. After serving the Government of Nagaland for 35 years in various capacities, the incumbent demits office on September 30 as Joint Development Commissioner. Alongside her official assignments and responsibilities, she served as the General Secretary and Treasurer of the Nagaland Planning Machinery Service Association at various points of time during her service.
Nosazol Charles, Additional Development Commissioner, the Nagaland Planning Machinery Service Association and other officers bade farewell and spoke praises on the achievement and service rendered by the outgoing officer.
