Participatory Gospel Concert held at Shaki village

Dimapur, December 28: Participatory gospel concert featuring Dr.Benny Prasad and Zanbeni Prasad along with selected local artists sponsored by Gift Ministry of Bethel Faith School Seithekima was held at Shaki Baptist Church on December 24 last.
During the concert Dr. Benny and his wife Zanbeni Prasad presented Hindi, English and Lotha songs and also challenged the youth with their powerful testimonies.
Dr Benny Prasad is a world record holder who became the fastest person to travel 245 nations including Antarctica in 6 years, 6 months and 22 days. In 2004 he invented the World’s First Bongo Guitar and performed with it at the official welcoming of the South African Athletes as well as in the cultural stage of the 2004 Olympic Games in Greece. He has performed for many Presidents, Parliament’s and dignitaries and also the opening ceremony of 2007 World Military Games. He had also performed at the 2012 Olympic and Para Olympic Games in London. After travelling for 13 years to 257 Nations and breaking 6 world Records, Benny quit his world Concert tours and built a 400 seater Cafe at Bangalore also g with his wife Zanbeni Prasad called Chai 3:16 to reach out to the college students who are depressed, lonely and suicidal.
Other local artists who performed included Naga Idol finalist 2012, Thunglamo Ngullie, Pideno Shiteri, Yanithung Lotha, and 83 year old Patton.
The concert was organized in memory of Late Architect Avung Odyuo who died on 8th August 2016. Director / Founder of Gift Ministry Thungjamo Odyuo who is the father of Late Avung said that gift ministry focusses in organising camp, concerts, crusade, special programme and Bible study especially among the youth.
Apart from church members and youth of Shaki and neighbouring villages, friends of Late Avung from different places also came to witness the concert which was held in his memory.
