P Vizheto Tuccu village inaugurated


Dimapur, June 16: The inauguration of village establishment of P Vizheto Tuccu village was held Friday morning in the village ground. The village was established on January 2014, and recognized by the Government on December 18, 2017.
Commissioner of Nagaland, M. Patton (IAS) who graced the occasion unveiled the monolith and declared the recognition of the village by presenting the village chieftain shawl to the village chief, P. Vizheto Tuccu.
Patton greeted the people of P. Vizheto Tuccu village and congratulated them on behalf of the Government saying that it was a red letter day for the entire populace of the village. He called upon the people of the village to nurture the village together in all developmental aspect and also to maintain peace and harmony among the villagers and with neighbouring villages as well.
Sharing a brief history of the establishment of the village, P. Vizheto Tuccu said that the village was established to help the needy people, so also to contribute towards economical, cultural and spiritual growth of the society.
Rev. Dr. Hevukhu Achumi, executive secretary, WSBAK offered monolith and village dedicatory prayer by quoting scripture from the Bible.
Pushika Awomi, general secretary, NPF central, felicitated the dignitaries with words of gratitude. (Page News Service)
