Over 78000 visitors throng Kisama in 5 days

Kohima, December 5: Over 78 thousand visitors have thronged the picturesque Naga Heritage Village in Kisama to witness the first half of the 10-day long Hornbill Festival, an annual tourism promotional event of the Nagaland government.
Altogether 78395 visitors which include 56115 locals, 20659 domestic tourists and 1621 foreign tourists have witnessed the first five days of cultural regale at Kisama, stated the statistics of the Tourism Department.
The highest so far has been Sunday, the third day, with 18002 visitors witnessing the festivities. This includes 12578 locals, 5001 domestic tourists and 423 foreigners.
