Organizations condemn murder of police inspector


Dimapur, September 16: The Naga Mothers Association (NMA) has condemned the heinous murder of Late Neiphretuo Metsieo, a Police officer by the two accused from the Tangkhul tribe. The NMA conveyed deepest condolences to his wife and children and prayed that God gives them the strength to bear the great loss and grant him eternal rest and peace.
The NMA also sought the immediate arrest of the main accused Shimray and recovery of the vehicle, at the earliest by law enforcing agencies of Manipur and Nagaland.
The NMA demanded the severest punishment on both the two perpetrators as per the law and no bail be granted at any stage to them.
AGOK: The Angami Gazetted Officers Krotho has condemned the killing of one of our members from NAGOK unit, Late Neiphretuo Metsei-o, Inspector, 5th NAP Bn. posted at Pfütsero, Phek, whose dead body was found yesterday between Lasumi and Zapami village under Phek district. The AGOK offered condolences to his beloved wife, Hili and their young children. The AGOK also expressed its heartfelt solidarity with his native village Chiechama and the law enforcing agencies and strongly urged that no effort be spared to ensure that the victim and his family get justice.
TPO: The Tenyimi Peoples’ Organisation (TPO) has condemn in the diabolic murder of Neiphretuo Metseio, son of Neisalie Metsieo, of Chiechama village.
It appealed to all people, in whatever capacity, to help in apprehending the murderers to allow befitting action taken against them so that we remove such evils from our society.
The TPO shared its heartfelt condolences to the grief stricken family members and kith and kin and prayed to God Almighty to grant solace and strength to overcome this great loss and pain.
KIN: The Kuki Inpi Nagaland has expressed shock to know the cold blooded murder of late Neiphretuo Metsie-o, Inspector C. Coy, 5 NAP Bn who went missing since September 7.
The KIN condemned such barbaric act of murder done to a fellow Naga brother in the strongest of terms.
The Kuki Inpi requested the concerned authority and demanded that the culprit(s) be booked soon and given befitting punishment as per the law of the land.
It also extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family of the late police officer and prayed to God Almighty to give solace and comfort to ease their grief.
WCH: The Western Chakhesang Hoho (WCH) has condemned the heinous murder of one, Lt. Neiphretuo Metseio, Inspector at 5th NAP battalion, posted at Pfutsero, whose mortal remains were recovered near Zuketsa village area under Phek district on 15th September.
WCH is of the opinion that such cold blooded murderers who does not have any regret in taking another human’s life have no place in civilized society and should not go unpunished.
It urged the law enforcing agencies to take all measures necessary in bringing the culprits to book at the earliest.
The WCH extends its sincere condolence as it shared the pain and grief of the bereaved family members in their difficult moment. The WCH also prayed that almighty grant the family members’ strength to bear the irreparable loss.
CYF: The Chakhesang Youth Front (CYF) has condemned the barbaric murder of Neiphretuo Metsie-o, Inspector 5th NAP ‘C’ Coy Pfutsero hailedg from Chiechama village by some perpetrators hailing from Ukhrul district Manipur.
The CYF expressed shock at the way the criminal act was carried out and questioned at the security of an ordinary citizen if the law enforcers have also become the victim of such crime. The CYF also objected to the criminal act of murder its jurisdiction and warned the perpetrators with severest consequences once they are caught.
The CYF further assured to give its fullest co-operation to assist the investigating authorities to nab the culprits involved in the heinous crime, and urged the law enforcing authorities to arrest the perpetrators and book with befitting punishment as per the law of the land.
It also mourned with the loved ones and village community of Lt. NeiphretuoMetsie-o at this time of grief and sorrow, and conveyed deepest condolence
PTP: The Pfutsero Town Public held a meeting today in the heart of Pfutsero Town in connection with the brutal murder of Neiphretuo Metsie-o between Lasumi and Zapami Village under Zuketsa Circle, Pfutsero Sub-Division. He is from Chiechama Village under Kohima Dist. posted as Inspector 5th NAP C’ Coy at Pfutsero under Phek Dist.
The Public of Pfutsero Area condemned the barbaric killing committed by Thangmeingam, 24 years of KharasomLozo Village and Ringthingchon of Lunghar Village under Ukhrul Dist. who are from Tangkhul Community.
The Pfutsero Town Public requested the concern authority and the Tangkhul Community to book the culprits within 7 days warning that failing to book the culprits within the stipulated time, the Pfutsero Area Public will take its own course of action and will not be responsible for any untoward situations.
The Pfutsero Area also expressed solidarity with the bereaved family and prayed that God give them peace and solace.
NDPP: The NDPP has expressed shock at the gruesome murder of Inspector Neiphretuo Metsie-o by some blood-thirsty miscreants and said such barbarism has no place in civilized society.
The NDPP appealed to the State Government and the law enforcing agencies to leave no stone unturned so that the murderers are brought to justice at the earliest. The NDPP also expressed deepest sympathies to the bereaved family members, relatives and friends of late Neiphretuo. May the departed soul rest in peace.
MHD: The Mao Hoho Dimapur has expressed grief at the brutal murder of late Neiphretuo Metsie-o serving as an Inspector in 5th NAP allegedly by some criminal elements.
MHD on behalf of all peace loving people, condemn this senseless and inhuman act.
MHD demanded that all effort must be taken by state investigation agencies to make arrest and bring to justice such criminal elements involved in this tragic incident, who are threat to peace of any society.
MHD also extended condolences and sympathy to the grieving family and prayed that our God of all comfort and justice, give strength and consolation at this moment of loss and pain.
