NWA wrestler loses in q/f at world c’ship


Kohima, June 20: Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) wrestler Keduovilie Zumu who was part of the Indian Mas Wrestling contingent, participated in the World Mas Wrestling Championship 2019 under 90+ and below 105 Kg category which was held from June 6 to 12 at Baku, Azerbaijan.
In the championship, Zumu overpowered Kyrgyztan in the first round and defeated Ukraine in the second round but lost to Russia in the quarter final.
He returned home on June 19.
The Indian contingent participated under the aegis of the All India Traditional Wrestling & Pankration Federation (AITWPF).
