Dimapur, November 13: In view of the prevailing situation due to the spread of Coronavirus in the state, the Nagaland University has postponed the odd semester (1st, 3rd and 5th semester) examinations scheduled from December 7.
The new schedule/routine would be notified in due course of time, Controller of Examination, Dr Moasangba stated in an Office Memorandum
ANCSU lauds Govt, NU
The All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) lauded the state government and the Nagaland University (NU) for understanding the threat of the prevailing pandemic and postponing the scheduled NU exams for odd semester (1st, 3rd, 5th).
The ANCSU reiterated its earlier representation that physical mode of examination is discouraged for the pending semester exams.
In the wake of infavourable situation, the ANCSU suggested that exams be held for the said exams during January/February, 2021(as requested by the state government), preferably through online mode, with befitting examination code of conduct.
The union also appealed to the colleges’ fraternity to be diligent and cautious, as everyone battle with the unprecedented situation and urged the Nagaland University to ensure that the career of the students is not jeopardized under any circumstances.
