Kohima, October 30: Nagaland Secretariat Stenographers Service Association (NSSSA) celebrated its golden jubilee-cum-general session on October 28 at Hotel De Oriental Grand, Kohima.
The NSSSA is one of the pioneer employees Associations in Nagaland and also in the Secretariat, established in 1971.
The jubilee celebration was declared open with the unveiling of jubilee celebration banner by NSSSA President, Kochumman and invocation prayer by Hokashi Sema.
Advisor & one of the senior members of the association Tepuvisono Yoho briefed about the history of NSSSA. OSD & Advisor NSSSA Peteneilhou delivered a speech on behalf of the association while NSSSA joint secretary Megoseno read out the report of the association for the last two years followed by various committees report presented by Bendangrenla & Bendangsenla. Junior Grade Stenographers enthralled the gathering with a special number.
In the business hour, covenor of the nomination committee I Tiarenla presented the committee’s report and members present unanimously elected new team of office bearers for the tenure 2022-24.
The new team of office bearers will be headed by Tongtikala as president and Achun Kamei as vice president. (Page News Service)
