In view of the hurdles faced by the disaster hit victims of Kiphire, the District Legal Services Authorities functioning under the aegis of Nagaland State Legal Services Authorities had initiated various fund drive activities to aid the affected victims in tune with NALSA (Legal Services to the Victims of Disaster) Scheme, 2016.
It is worth mentioning that the District Legal Services Authorities have constituted Core Group-Emergency Response Team to provide Legal Services to the disaster hit victims. Emergency Response Team of Mokokchung DLSA also gave an assessment report on the disaster hit victims and furnished report to the district administration for relief. (Page News Service)
