NSF rubbishes alleged link with ISIS

Dimapur, November 4: The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has expressed pain over some message in a various social media groups (WhatsApp & Facebook in particular) alleging one former president as well as the current president of the federation has “easy access” to international terrorist groups (ISIS) “as demonstrated in the recently conducted mass rally in Delhi.”
Rubbishing the allegation in a clarification issued today, the NSF placed on record that the “message” is nothing but blatant lie created by unknown individual(s) with malicious intent to defame the leaders of the federation, and urged the general public not to give any credence to it.
The federation also directed the creator(s) of ‘the message’ to come clean before the officials of the federation within one week from the date of issue of this clarification, failing which the NSF shall be compelled to pursue the matter by lodging a formal police complaint.
The NSF further appealed to the general public to be mindful of various fake news in various social media group and desist from blindly forwarding them.
