NSF issues advisory to students

Dimapur, April 27: Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has issued an advisory for all students who are planning to return to Nagaland on resumption of commercial flight services.
The NSF has advised those students to postpone their return for the time being.
It said for those whose return is unavoidable, they may take note that upon landing at Dimapur airport, every returnee would be medically screened, and thereafter taken in vehicles arranged by the NST to the institutional observation centres designated by the Government of Nagaland at Dimapur/Kohima. The returnees would mandatorily undergo minimum 14 days quarantine.
All returnees would then undergo mandatory 14 days home observation after the quarantine at designated Government observation centres.
The NSF further informed that all travelers entering Nagaland have to download the Self Declaration App and fill up the self declaration form. The form is also available at The print out of the same would be mandatorily presented at the Airport health/Immigration counter upon their arrival. Non-compliance is punishable offence under Epidemic Disease Act 1897, it added.
The NSF asked all returnees to note the inconveniences they might face as most of the villages/colonies are currently barricaded and maintaining complete lockdown. (Page News Service)
