Kohima, March 25: The 14th general conference of Nagaland School Education Administrative Officers’ Association (NSEAOA) was held on Friday at the Morung Hall, Directorate of School Education Kohima.
As part of the conference, the NSEAOA resolved to totally object to any move in order to bring in other cadres to fill up vacancies that belong to Elementary/Secondary Cadres within the department.
The members also adopted the draft constitution of the association in principle with room for additions/omissions.
Joint Director School Education and president NSEAOA Timothy Thong delivered the presidential address.
Joint Director (retd) and convenor search committee Theyievilie Suohumvu declared the new team of NSEAOA office bearers for the tenure 2022-25 with Ruby Humtsoe as the president and Thungchio Shitiri as general secretary. Other office bearers are: vice presidents – Y. Mughaho Zhimo and Opangkokla Aier, Assistant General Secretary – Kaitunchap Newmai, Treasurer – Rokozeho Sothu and Assistant Treasurer – Robert Marathon.
Chaired by Deputy Mission Director Samagra Shiksha and treasurer NSEAOA Dr Khatoli Khala the conference commenced with prayer by Assistant Director School Education Ratuovinuo Pienyü. SDEO Medzhiphema and general secretary NSEAOA Ruby Humtsoe tendered the vote of thanks.
