Nagaland News

Dimapur, June 9: The Nagaland State Commission for Women (NSCW) has expressed gratitude to the guardian angel of the Northeast Region, Robin Hibu IPS, for continuously assisting the victims in sexual harassment cases, rapes, burials and women caught in difficult circumstances, ever since March 2020 and continuing till date, particularly in mainland India.
Chairperson of NSCW, Khrienuo Tachu said Robin Hibu has been an essential link in connecting with NSCW vis-a-vis State Government, networking with DGP Nagaland, John Longkumer IPS, for timely assistance and clarification of cases augmented by fake media circulations.
She said NSCW could only assist Helping Hands NGO with a meagre amount, for burials and varied other problems. Many Naga girls suffer and faces gender based humiliations and crimes frequently but it is the likes of Robin Hibu IPS who lends a helping hand to those in need, and for which NSCW is truly indebted to him, she added.
