NSCN (R) suspends kilonser


Dimapur, May 11: The NSCN/ GPRN (Reformation) at a Cabinet meeting on May 7 chaired by vice president, Akato Chophi has suspended Toshi Imchen, Kilonser, for an indefinite period.
A NSCN (R) release informed that during deliberation at the meeting, Toshi was found to have involved in arbitrary misuse of powers and functions and also conducting independent inquiries regarding the Ao regional affairs without any consultations with the higher authorities.
The release informed that the inappropriate action of Toshi contravened with the party discipline which attracted penalty under clause C (Security) and mentioned in serial 4 and also under clause D (Anti- Social Activities) as mentioned in serial 2.
The NSCN (R) directed the suspended member to submit government property(s) with immediate effect and not to involve in any of the governments affairs whatsoever during the suspension period.
In connection with this, the Cabinet meet also resolved to initiate re-construction of the Ao regional affairs and as such suspended the ‘Ao Region’ till further order. (Page News Service)
