NSCN (R) removes Deputy Secretary

Dimapur, February 22: The NSCN/GPRN (Reformation) has removed Deon Swu, Deputy Secretary from both active and primary membership of the Party/Government with immediate effect.
Deon, on being reported from various quarters, of misusing his position, the Chief Secretary’s Office summoned him twice to appear before the Competent Authorities to make his stands and to testify.
However on both occassion, he failed to comply (for reasons best known to him), a press release issued by MIP stated.
Stating that his failure to comply with the directives is considered a “Willful Defilement” of the Ahza, the NSCN (R) removed him from all responsibilities on account of being an ‘absconder’ and a ‘deserter’.
“Whatsoever, Mr. Deon is henceforth, no more connected with any of NSCN (R)’s affairs per-se, and as such, anyone dealing with him, shall be doing so at one’s own risk and volition which shall not reflect on the image of the NSCN (R) in any manner,” it stated.
