Dimapur, March 2: The NSCN (R) met the CFSB/CFMG members to deliberate and review the applied Ceasefire Ground Rules, besides discussion relating to cease fire issues on March 1.
A NSCN (R) release said the meeting was fruitful where both the parties discussed the present scenario and the need to strengthen the agreed ceasefire ground rules.
The CFSB/CFMG also acknowledged the NSCN (R) for being able to bring down the level of breach of ceasefire ground rules (from the NSCN -R side) and expressed hope that the same positive spirit be maintained (or for better) of which the NSCN (R) reciprocated in optimism.
The CFSB/CFMG team included chairman Gen. (Retd.) Shokin Chauhan, S.O (Staff Officer) T. Mere, Home Commissioner M. Patton, IGP (Int) Martin Pienyu and Col. RS Mangkat Singh (representing IGAR). The NSCN (R) were represented by Dr. S. Amento Chishi (Kilonser/Team leader), Toshi Longkumer (secretary CFSB), Amento V.
