Dimapur, September 7: The NSCN/GPRN (R) paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed CFSB/CFMG chairman, Lt. Gen. Shokin Chauhan (Retd) on Friday at Dimapur. The meeting was facilitated through Staff Officer T Mere (Deputy Commandant).
Since the meeting was a courtesy visit, no particular agenda was discussed. However, the chairman expressed desire to work in co-ordination with the NPGs as far as peace is concerned, and said not to hesitate but enlighten/inform him should any problem/s with regard to ceasefire issues crops up, since he was willing to discuss in trying to mitigate or perhaps try to solve problems (if any).
