DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 12: The NSCN/GPRN (Reformation) has extended Ahuna greetings to all Sumi Nagas.
The “Ahuna” festival is a ‘Post Harvest Festival’ of the Sumi Community, which is usually celebrated on the second week of November every year, stated the NSCN/GPRN through Ministry of Information and Publication (MIP).
However, due to the unprecedented threat of the COVID-19, large gatherings will not take place this year. Despite the hindrance, the NSCN(R) is optimistic that through this festivity, the Sumi brothers and sisters will continue to shine in all spheres, and to usher into the new era of ‘Peace, Oneness and Solidarity’ and to dwell in ‘Prosperity and Good Tidings’.
