NSCN (R) directs ‘conman’ to surrender within 3 days

Dimapur, November 27: The NSCN/GPRN (Reformation) has directed one Alex Tuccu, who it alleged is “masquerading as deputy kilonser of NSCN (R)’ and indulging in extortion to surrender before NSCN authorities within 3 days (before November 30) or face action.
In a press release, the NSCN (R) said it is appalled that the ‘conman’ going by the name of Alex Tuccu is outrageously carrying out extortion spree in and around Dimapur, which is tainting the image of the NSCN and cannot be tolerated.
The NSCN (R) also asked family or friends of the ‘conman’ to advise him that ‘surrendering himself in his own volition’ will be best for him so that some “magnanimous gesture, mitigating the penalties of the crime and damage done to the NSCN may perhaps be considered,” while also warning that with the expiry of the deadline, the NSCN will be constrained “to hunt him down and initiate stringent and severest action against him”, and for which the NSCN authorities should be held accountable.
The NSCN (R) further reminded all concerned that there is no ‘Alex Tuccu’ in its folds in both active or primary membership and dealing with him shall be so at one’s own risk and shall not reflect on the image of the NSCN (R) in any manner.
