Dimapur, January 2: The NSCN (Reformation) has expressed pain and grief at the sudden demise of Holitoli Aye (Kilonser, Women and Child Development) on January 1 at Guwahati.
Daughter of Nikhezhe, late Holitoli hailed from Lokobomi village (Akuluto) and is a resident of Khehokhu village, who joined Naga national movement in 1999, and served under various capacities and rose to the rank of cabinet kilonser through her sheer sincerity and leadership caliber, said a condolence message issued by the MIP NSCN (R).
She was also an active member of CFSB (Ceasefire Supervisory Board) and the serving chairperson of Naga National Socialist Women Wing.
“In her demise, we have lost a daring and a gallant torchbearer, a true comrade, a benevolent mother and a dearest friend and our heart deeply grieves at her departure which is beyond comprehension,” it said.
The NSCN (R) invoked God’s grace to rest her soul in eternal peace and prayed that the Good Lord provide solace to her family members and friends during their time of grief.
