Dimapur, October 1: The NSCN-K (Yung Aung) has suspended Manwan, education kilonser for a period of one year from the membership of NSCN/GPRN for “anti-party discipline and for tarnishing party image”.
In a suspension order, NSCN (K) chairman Yung Aung said Manwan was “found guilty” of publishing an unauthorized press release and making “opinionative statement” in the media dated August 6, 2020 “with ulterior motive to create doubt and confusion among national workers”.
“This willful ‘conduct of affairs independently’ is against the party discipline under Article 4 of Section ‘C’,” the order said.
The suspension order said all authorization, power and privileges enjoyed by Manwan stands cancelled with effect from September 29, 2020 till September 29, 2021. (Page News Service)
