Dimapur, December 8: The Central Administrative Officer (CAO) of Union Territory, NSCN (IM) has asked all to refrain from indulging in gambling and selling liquors at Night Carnivals in and around Dimapur.
The NSCN (IM) directive was issued keeping in mind that Nagalim being a Christian State and following complaints from Church leaders, civil society organizations and various NGOs.
In this regard the CAO UT has appealed for cooperation from the public to maintain peace and tranquillity.
Meanwhile the Government of the People’s Republic of Nagalim (GPRN) has informed that the 2019 “Government Calendar” has been released. It appealed to all consider it as a national souvenir and extend cooperation. The GPRN also informed that it is not forcing anybody to buy it. The rate of the calendar is Rs 150.
