Dimapur, January 7: The Central Administrative Officer (CAO) and all members of the Rengma region of NSCN/GPRN have expressed grief at the demise of late Lathon Kemp of Sendenyu village who was one of the persons who weaved the first Naga Flag.
Stating that her contribution towards the Naga Nation will always be cherished, the Rengma region expressed its heartfelt condolences and prayed to the Almighty God to give comfort to the bereaved family members.
TNR: The Naga Rising team has extended deepest condolences and joined the family and dear ones of Lathon Kemp in mourning.
Lathon Kemp was one of the four women from Sendenyu Women Society (NNC Women Wing) who wove the first Naga flag as per the instructions of A.Z. Phizo.
The TNR said the role played by Kemp during the nascent years of Naga political movement would remain a part of our legacy. (Page News Service)
