Dimapur, October 23: The NSCN (IM) held a consultative meeting with the Ao Senden leaders today in Dimapur. The GPRN was led by Hukavi Yepthomi, Kilo Kilonser and Lieut. Gen. Anthony Shimray, Military Cross, Longvibu, Naga Army.
The Ao Senden leadership and the GPRN leaders deliberated thoroughly on the ongoing Indo-Naga peace talk. The discourse was harmonious due to the free exchange of and ideas and views between the civil society leaders and the GPRN.
The Ao Senden leaders conveyed that they are with the GPRN and fervently hope for an early solution to the Indo-Naga conflict.
The Kilo Kilonser elaborated on how the Indian government came to recognize the unique history and situation of the Nagas and signed the historic Framework Agreement with the Government of India on August 3, 2015.
The Longvibu appreciated the Ao Senden leadership for its practical wisdom to build a stronger Naga nation.
The GPRN hoped that such a bonding will certainly bring forth an unconditional love and understanding among all the Naga brethren.
The GPRN expected the same commitment and dedication from our Naga civil bodies until the final solution is arrived at.
