Dimapur, June 22: The NSCN (IM) has expressed over the untimely demise of Orenthung Ovung, Tatar (Member of Parliament) on June 20.
He was one of the most senior Lotha Naga national workers and a pioneer of Lotha region. He joined the national service in August, 1990, said a condolence message issued by the MIP NSCN/GPRN.
The GPRN has also mourned the untimely demise of Corporal (Posthumous) Kekho Kisham (Army number 44197/15 of Alee/ForeignCommand, Naga Army) on June 14, while in the line of duty. He joined the national service in September, 2015.
“Both of them served the Naga nation with unwavering national spirit until their demise. For their selfless services rendered to the Naga nation, their names shall be recorded in the pages of the Naga history and their sacrifices ever be cherished,” it said.
The GPRN extended condolences to their bereaved family members and prayed for the departed souls to find eternal peace and rest. (Page News Service)
