Dimapur, June 11: NSCN (IM) steering committee convener Ashiho Asouma has expressed grief at the sudden demise of Col. (Retd). Soreingam Khamrang, member of the Steering Committee, NSCN, who breathed his last on June 9 at Dimapur after a prolonged illness.
“He was a dedicated man who loved Naga nation and displayed his patriotic spirit till his last breath. He gave his service for the Naga nation from the year 21 January 1987, and served the nation till the last moment of his life. The void created by his demise will be difficult to fill in,” he said.
The NSCN expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that Almighty God grant peaceful rest to the departed soul.
The Government of the People’s Republic of Nagalim (GPRN) has also expressed grief at the untimely demise of Lojit Langthasa, Leacy of NSCN/GPRN on June 9.
“He served the Naga nation with unwavering patriotism until his demise. For his selfless contributions to the Naga national cause, his name shall be recorded in the pages of the Naga history and his sacrifices for the Naga nation shall ever be cherished by all,” it said.
The NSCN/GPRN conveyed deep condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that Almighty Lord bless and comfort his family members during this time of grief. (Page News Service)
