NSCN (IM) condoles

Dimapur, January 13: The NSCN (IM) has expressed grief at the untimely demise of Major Temsutemjen Longchar (Naga Army No. 41232/06) of Hevuto Battalion, Naga Army from Chuchuyimlang village under Ao Region on January 13. He enrolled in the Naga national service on 20th February, 2006.

The GPRN also mourned the demise of Sergeant Pangmaya Raikhan (Naga Army No. 42742/11) of the General Headquarters (GHq), Naga Army from Kachai Phungdhar village under Wung Tangkhul Region (WTR) on January 13. He enrolled in the Naga national service on 22nd September, 2011.
“They both served the Naga nation with unwavering patriotism until their demise. The void created by their demise is deeply felt and would be difficult to fill in. For their selfless contributions to the Naga national cause, their names shall be recorded in the pages of the Naga history and their sacrifices for the Naga nation shall ever be cherished by all,” said a condolence message issued by the MIP NSCN/GPRN.
It also informed that the office of the Longvibu, Naga Army has bestowed upon (L) Major Temsutemjen Longchar posthumously the rank of Lieutenant Colonel on January 13 in recognition of his service to the Naga nation.
The NSCN/GPRN conveyed deep condolences to the bereaved family members and close friends of the two deceased and prayed for their spirits to rest in eternal peace.
