NSCN (IM) condoles

Dimapur, May 28: The Yaruiwo of NSCN (IM) has expressed grief at the demise of Lieut. Col. (Retd.) Mechichu Lasuh, Tatar, GPRN from Jalukie Zangdi village.
“As we mourn his passing away, we are reminded of his determined contribution over many decades to the struggle for freedom. He served the nation whole heartedly without any reservation,” he said in a condolence message.
The Yaruiwo expressed condolences to the bereaved family, and prayed for his soul to rest in peace.
The Government of the People’s Republic of Nagalim (GPRN) has also expressed grief at the untimely demise of Lieut. Col. (Retd.) Mechichu Lasuh, Tatar of NSCN/GPRN from Jalukie Zangdi (Chakhesang) village under Jalukie sub-division in Peren district on May 27 after a prolonged illness. He joined the Naga national service on 21st September, 1987.
The GPRN has also mourned the untimely demise of Major (Posthumous) Wungnaosung Lungleng, Naga Army No. IJ-18393 of the General Headquarters (GHq), Naga Army from Mapao village under Wung Tangkhul Region (WTR) on May 27 after a prolonged illness. He enrolled in the Naga national service on 1st September, 1997.
The GPRN conveyed deep condolences to both the bereaved family members and prayed that the departed souls rest in eternal peace. (Page News Service)
