Dimapur, May 3: The CAO, Chakhesang Region of NSCN (IM) has stated that it will continue to monitor the selling of illicit drugs and foreign liquor under the region.
Anyone caught doing the banned business “shall have to face the undesirable consequences”, it stated in a statement issued on Tuesday.
It also stated that “some unscrupulous persons” were collecting house tax/sub-divisional shop tax and donations “under his jurisdiction without his concern”.
“This shall be treated as criminal indulgence and serious action shall be taken accordingly”, it added.
