Dimapur, September 2: The NSCN/GPRN (Akato Chophi) has conveyed a very warm festival’s greetings on the joyous occasion of Mongmong festival of the Sangtam Nagas.
Mongmong is one of the most important festivals of the Sangtam tribe. The main reason to celebrating this festival is to worship the deity of the house and three cooking stones in the fire place.
The NSCN invoked God’s blessings to be upon Sangtam brothers and sisters and wished that this festival bring prosperity and good tidings to the Sangtam people.
