Dimapur, July 1: The Board of Directors, officers and employees of Nagaland State Cooperative Bank bid farewell to retired Managing Director in a programme held in the conference hall of the bank at HO Dimapur on June 30.
Kekhwengulo Lea, vice chairman of the bank extolled the corporate leadership quality of the outgoing Managing Director and highlighted the achievement made by the bank during his tenure.
Abao Kire, Board of Director of the bank speaking on behalf of the Board, said big changes has taken place with his taking over as Managing Director and his leaving the office today did not come accidentally but with dedication. Bank has earned an operating profit of Rs 837.15 lakhs during the year 2016-17 which is the first highest ever profit in the history of the bank so far. He has relentlessly continued with the initiative and has earned another operating profits of Rs 860.11 lakhs in the year 2017-18 surpassing the previous year figure.
