NPSC rebuffs NNQF allegation

Nagaland News

DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 16: Responding to the allegation made by Nagaland NET Qualified Forum (NNQF), the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) has clarified that it had received 103 posts of Assistant Professor and two posts of Librarian, totalling 105, from the department of Higher Education and no post was held back by the NPSC as alleged.

In a rejoinder issued on Tuesday, the commission stated that it had published the exact number of posts requisitioned by the department concerned. The commission is also not empowered to examine/review any requisitioned post, it added.
“Further, no RTI pertaining to the above subject was received by the NPSC nor anyone from NNQF has ever contacted this commission on the subject cited above. This is, therefore, to request all concerned to refrain from resorting to print media without verifying the facts from the source concerned,” it stated.
