NPP revamped in Nagaland


Dimapur, September 14: The National People’s Party (NPP) has been revamped in the state of Nagaland and is now being headed by new president, Dr Andrew Ahoto and general secretary, Limanuksang Longkumer. Many more new appointments of incumbent leaders are on the anvil.
The NPP Nagaland requested all the members to be optimistic towards the new changes as change and transformation is inevitable for a progressive society.
The NPP said the present change has to be construed as beneficial for the golden future of the party in Nagaland and also for the benefit of the larger interest of the Nagas in general.
The NPP Nagaland assured the Central leadership that their faith in leadership would be emboldened in days to come by sheer commitment to the party ideology of a forward Northeast including Nagaland.
NPP Nagaland thanked all party members, elders of the society, advisors and well-wishers for continually supporting in uphill task of restructuring the party.
The State Party further congratulated in a special way Ato Yepthomi and Ringo Odyuo for having been elevated to the posts of Vice Chairman of NECC and Vice-President of National Youth Wing respectively. It also congratulated and wished the entire new team of State Leaders for their new responsibility.
NPP Nagaland also thanked Parent Body / Central Leadership led by Conrad K. Sangma, National President and Thomas Sangma, National General Secretary for having reposed their faith in the new team of NPP Nagaland and for rising to the occasion of a crisis in efficient leadership due to which the State Party was revamped and a new set of leaders have been appointed.
It also extended gratitude to National Secretary In-charge of Nagaland, Paknga Bage for persistently supporting the cause of the Nagas and their aspirations. (Page News Service)
