Dimapur, February 26: NPP Nagaland has extended greetings on the occasion of Angami Sekrenyi or Phousanyi.
In a message, the NPP stated this festival is traditionally held to wipe out all past sins and to eliminate all kinds of negative energies. It is also celebrated as a sign of renewal and cleansing of one’s surroundings and environment.
The NPP Nagaland stood united with our Angami brothers and sisters and sought God Almighty’s blessings upon each one of us so that “we can renew our goodness and brotherhood and forgive each other while also cleanse our hearts and souls from all misdemeanours that keep us away from each other.”
It also wished that the festival mark the opening of a new chapter of peace, prosperity and reconciliation among all Naga tribes so that we can remain united in our efforts to revive our age old traditions of hospitality, courage and honesty despite all the odds. (Page News Service)
