NPP Mokokchung prepares for LS by-election


Mokokchung, May 19: The National People’s Party (NPP) Mokokchung division held a co-ordination meeting among the different wings – parent, women’s and youth wing – at its division office on Saturday.
The coordination meeting was called to take stock of the preparations for the forthcoming Lok Sabha bye-election scheduled to be held on May 28. The NPP Division strongly endorsed the PDA consensus candidate Tokheho Yepthomi and resolved to work diligently for the success of the PDA’s candidate in the coming bye-election.
In this regard, the division also distributed the works among the different wings and entrusted the office-bearers and party leaders to reach out to the masses with the mandated PDA slogan of ‘change is coming’.
The NPP, Mokokchung division also appreciated Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio for giving the post of Advisor, Industries & Commerce, NIDC and also appointing as chairman of DPDB Mokokchung to Imnatiba (MLA from 22 Arakakong A/C). The NPP Mokokchung division also reposed full faith in the PDA Government to fulfil its promise, especially to its elected MLA Imnatiba (Advisor) to reach the aspirations of the Naga people.
Meanwhile, the NPP Mkg division also welcomed new party members into its fold and at the same time resolved to stand firmly by the NPP’s principle under the leadership of the NPP, Nagaland Unit president Ato Yepthomi and NPP National President Conrad Sangma.
