NPF Minority wing visits NCH

Dimapur, January 27: NPF Mionority Wing Central and divison observed the 70th Indian Republic Day on January 26 with 32 orphan children at Neighbourhood Children Home , Midland, Dimapur jointly with Shanye Thong, Project Director and Rev. Daniel Shayan President of International Neigbourhood Service. The program was chaired by Sanjay Dey, Working President Dimapur Division and ended with a mass prayer leaded by Shayid.
Food items were distributed to the childrens as good will gesture and had a small discussion hour to celebrate Republic Day.
Bishnu Bhattacharjee, President Central spoke on the significance of the Republic Day & secularism and also encouraged children to study sincerely to acquire knowledge to contribute in nation building.
Sushil Kumar, Social Activist stressed on the occasion with an interaction to inspire the orphan children with facts and story on sacrifice of Indian freedom fighters.
The Children of Neighbourhood Children home performed special numbers with prayer for Peace and the well being of all.
As per the directives from the District administration, the members of Dimapur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) visited Sharon Home of Hope, Burma Camp and handed over the food items like Rice, Dal, M Oil, Milk Powder, Sugar, Biscuits etc to the administrator of the institution on the occasion of 70th Republic Day.
The members assured the under privileged students for any type of help they might need in future. (Page News Service)
