NPF Central Women wing resolves

Dimapur, November 1: A consultative meeting of Naga People’s Front (NPF)’s Central Women Wing was held on October 31 at Mini Conference Hall, NPF Headquarters, Kohima which was attended by all the Women Wing representatives under the chairmanship of Yanhola, General Secretary (Adm.) Mrs. Hetoli Achumi, Vice President, Central Women Wing invoked God’s blessing to start the meeting, followed by introduction. Welcome address was delivered by Tonlih Wangsa, President, Women Wing. The meeting was graced by Y M Yollow, MLA & Legislature In-charge of the Central Women Wing and Amenba Yaden, MLA. Short speeches were delivered by Sano Vamuzo, Advisor, Central Women Wing and Hiano Lam, Secretary (Central) COB Assistant In-charge of Central Women Wing.
Helena Yepthomi, General Secretary Women Wing Central proposed vote of thanks and the meeting concluded with Mass prayer.
After thorough deliberation, the House resolved to support the leadership of Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu as President, Naga People’s Front (NPF) and T.R. Zeliang as Leader of NPF Legislature Party.
It appeal to all the Naga National groups to take part in peace talk to bring an amicable solution and logical conclusion of the prolonged Naga issue.
The House agreed to request the President, NPF to accommodate more women members in Central Executive Council (CEC), the highest decision making body of the party.
The House also resolved to convene a consultative meeting with all the Divisional Women Wings.
The House appealed to all the NPF elected People’s Representatives, Divisional Presidents (Parent body) and Divisional Women Wings that any issues related to Women Wing be brought to knowledge of the Central Women Wing before it is submitted to the Central Office.
