NPCC regrets ‘error’ in allegation against LS MP

Dimapur, February 13: NPCC President, K Therie today regretted the ‘error’ in alleging the lone MP of Lok Sabha of having voted for CAB.
“However, it appears because of prior engagement he could not vote. We will accept his absence,” Therie said.
Therie further stated that from the statement of Lok Sabha MP, it is clear that he did not oppose the Bill, it was just he was absent due to prior engagement.
“If his conscience wa against the Bill, he should have expressed his opposition in the Lok Sabha and also made known his stand to the people of Nagaland at an appropriate time,” he said. (Page News Service)
