
Dimapur, January 22: The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) organised a two-day State-level training programme on January 21 and 22, at Dimapur DCC office complex.
A press release on Saturday informed that 110 delegates, comprising PCC officials and representatives from all 12 District Congress Committee (DCC), attended the training.
On the first day, NPCC President K Therie delivered the presidential address that “covered the entire spectrum of State & Centre politics and the diabolic policy of the regional parties in cahoots with BJP in Nagaland”.
Resource persons for the training session were Lt Col BS Shekhawat (Retd), who spoke on ‘INC Philosophy, Policies & Path’, and Capt. GK Zhimomi on ‘Failures of the Modi Government’.
On the second day, the first topic was on ‘Rejuvenating INC at Grassroots’ Shekhawat.
This was followed by a talk on organisational structure of INC, upcoming organisational elections, membership drive and polling booth management by Zhimomi.
The third resource person was Alemjongshi Longkumer, Vice President of NPCC, who brought out his perspective as a former Administrative officer on ‘Coordinating with Govt Agencies on Election Related Matters’.
The final topic was on ‘Use of Social Media’, delivered by X Chophika Sumi, President of NSUI Nagaland.
