NPCC condoles


Dimapur, April 20: The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPFF) has expressed grief at the demise of Lanu Longchar.
Late Lanu Laongchar joined the Congress party in 1980 and remained a steadfast congressman and valuable asset to the party despite all the situations faced, till his last breath. He served as chairman of the NPCC ex-servicemen cell and also in various capacities in different cells. He also served as spokesperson DCC as well as advisor to DCC, Dimapur, Therie said.
Therie said late Lanu Longchar was a dedicated social worker who always put the plight of the people first and rendered yeomen services to the public to ease their suffering in times of disasters or need.
“His passing has created a vacuum not only in the Congress party but for Naga society as a whole. He will be remembered for generations for his exemplary and selfless service to the Congress party as well as to society,” he said.
The NPCC conveyed deepest condolences to the bereaved family members, and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace. (Page News Service)
