Dimapur, July 31: A reception programme for the new Deputy Commissioner of Noklak, Hiazu Meru was held on July 31 at DC’s conference hall, Noklak.
Speaking during the programme, Hiazu Meru said that if District Administration along with all departments, civil societies and all stakeholders join hands, then the district will reach greater heights.
The new DC stated that Noklak being the newest district in Nagaland, there will be a lot of challenges, and urged everyone to be united and work together to overcome the challenges. Meru sought co-operation from all departments, NGOs, churches and people of the district. He assured that he will do his best during his stay in Noklak.
The programme was attended by officials from the district administrations, heads of departments, tribal leaders, churches leaders, DBs & GBs, staff of Deputy Commissioner’s office and citizens of Noklak.
