Noklak DPDB deliberates on developmental proposals

Dimapur, September 12: DPDB meeting for the month of September 2021 was held at DC’s conference hall, Noklak on September 9 under the Chairmanship of Chairman DPDB Noklak and Advisor Fisheries, Evaluation & Economics & Statistics, L. Khumo.


Various issues were discussed and approved to be forwarded to the concerned higher up authority for necessary consideration.
According to a DIPR report, the meeting discussed submission of existing site map and proposal site of DC complex at Noklak; Proposals for construction of DC residence, flat type quarters for officers and GA rest house at Noklak headquarter; Proposals for requirement of land for Police at Noklak headquarter; and Proposal development Goals (SDGs) coordination cells in respect of Noklak district.
The meeting also discussed about operating/running local taxi service in Noklak town and requested for approval of local taxi fare by the DPDB. It further requested for approval of DDMA JCB monitoring committee and guidelines for hiring.
The meeting further discussed about Officers Club Noklak; adoption of Noklak town by DPDB; establishment of Treasury Office at Noklak; accidental insurance scheme; Proposal for upgradation of government middle school at Chilliso village under SAMAGRA; Construction of school building in Jejeiking and Pangking villages and renovation of school building in pang GPS; and Construction of EAC quarter at Panso.


During the meeting, the AT department highlighted the activities of department. The Advisor and chairman DPDB Noklak, L. Khumo advised all the members to be positive attending during the meeting of DP&DB.
